Today, we’re breaking down the MIT study claiming 95% of generative AI pilots at companies are failing – and why this headline is misleading the entire market. The report, based on just 52 interviews and 150 survey responses, has been cited as a reason for AI stock crashes, but the methodology is deeply flawed and the findings are being wildly misinterpreted. What the study actually reveals is that while individual employees are getting massive value from AI tools (90% use LLMs regularly vs only 40% of companies buying subscriptions), organizations are struggling with implementation – not because the technology doesn’t work, but because of leadership buy-in, poor change management, and organizational dysfunction.

OpenAI’s GPT-5 is out & it’s the best AI model! For now. Overall, the benchmarks are good-not-great but the vibes are off-the-charts. We dive into the DEEP end. Sam Altman brought the whole team out for a long demo of GPT-5. It’s great at coding! It’s better at writing! It has new AI personalities! It will not hallucinate nearly as much! Which is more than we can say for the OpenAI graphics department.
Then, Google Deepmind’s Genie 3 shows us what the next generation of AI *might* look like with its new world model. Anthropic isn’t left out with a 4.1 update to its Claude Opus model. Eleven Labs drops an new AI music model, also great. And finally xAI drops Imagine AI Image & Video generation which, lets just say, can get a little *too* spicy.

Et si l’intelligence artificielle, en apprenant à partir de contenus générés par d’autres IA, finissait par tourner en rond ? Ce scénario inquiétant n’est plus de la science-fiction.
À mesure que l’IA se nourrit de ses propres productions, elle risque de perdre en qualité, en originalité, et même en cohérence. C’est ce qu’on appelle une boucle de rétroaction négative — ou l’autoréférence qui mène à la folie algorithmique.
Dans cet édito, on aborde un phénomène encore peu visible, mais potentiellement dévastateur : la régression modale. Lorsque les contenus d’entraînement cessent d’être humains, c’est toute l’innovation qui vacille.
